Alessandra Nobilia is a contemporary art curator and writer. She majored in Comparative Literature and Art History with a minor in Philosophy at the University of Mainz in 2007.
Within seven years of working as a gallery manager at prestigious Galerie Dr. Dorothea van der Koelen (2004 – 2010), she specialized on contemporary art as her subject of interest.
From September 2010 until August 2012 she run an art gallery in Mainz (Germany) featuring figurative, abstract and minimal art from contemporary artist such as Daniel Beer, Ulrich Behl, Nikola Jaensch, Hans-Peter Stark and Günther Uecker.
Her first novel The Brightest Never was published in September 2011. In December 2015 she put out her second book; a collection of poems entitled fragments, that includes several drawings by Samuel Hanchett.
